Kalatong – A dance with bamboo clappers or kalaste from the province of Pangasinan  which is a ceremonial dance to frighten evil spirits away.

Lapay Bantigue – A mimetic dance from Bantigue, a coastal province of MAsbate, that refers to Lapay or Sea gulls which is bountiful in BAntigue. Named after the lapay or Seagulls, the Lapay Bantigue in MAsbate  was invented when the village people began to mimic the swooping and gliding movements of the lapay, while waiting along the shor from the arrival of the boats carrying the day¡¯s catch. Exaggerated head and arm movements are used in mimicking the seagulls.

Cariñosa – a courtship dance from Panay, the Cariñosa (¡°Amiable¡±) depicts a man courting a woman with the restriction of touching her. During the old times it was grave scandal for a man to touch even the fingertips of a lady thus the representation of such seen in the dance where a demure lady protecting herself from the man using her scented fan as if playing hide and seek.

Jota Quirino – a jota dedicated to the province of Quirino distinguished itself from other versions of the jota throughout the use of elongated bamboo castanets that were not strung together, as compare to the traditional Spanish ones. Performed during parties.

Karatong – commonly played in Cuyo, Palwan every 27th of September, when the wait for the flowering of giant mango trees ends.

Binoyugan – A dance originally from the Ilokano region of PAngasinan,. Binoyugan features women balancing on their heads a banga or clay pot which they use to fetch water from the river or well, or in which to cook rice. The dance culminates with the women laying stomach down on stage, and rolling from side to side, all while balancing the pot.

[Editor's note] They have been prepared these dances and songs  to perform in the 10th Yeosu International Youth Festival in Korea, But the Festival was canceled bcause of  N1H1 virus by the organization of YSIYF in public.
We are so sorry not to join in the festivak with them. We have been prepared many things to welcome them to Korea. We will invite them next time.
