Public Health Guidance on Influenza A(H1N1)
First, wash your hands frequently and avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
Second, use a tissue to cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing. Dispose of the tissue and cleanse your hands thoroughly afterwards.
Third, report to a quarantine station or a public health center nearby if you develop severe respiratory symptoms including runny or stuffy nose, sore throat, cough, fever or feverishness after returning from countries where Influenza A(H1N1) case has been identified.
Fourth, you cannot be infected with Influenza A(H1N1) from eating pork or pork products. The Influenza A(H1N1) virus is killed by cooking temperatures of over 70¡É. |
