Motives for applying, Expectations, and Action Plan
The motive of application
In today's world, people actively interchange knowledge and information on online and off-line through the Internet, so APCE future education consortium proposed the necessities of ICT model school, demanding to share experiences in ICT use education and facilitate international exchange among schools. Therefore, our school is trying to search for young students' interests and some solutions to the common subjects besides international exchange by developing online projects based on the already-built-up infrastructure of ICT use education and then working with the students in other countries.

Expectation for ICT Model School Activities
1. The development of the online cooperative teaching By carrying out the online projects with some subjects extracted by the analysis of our and other countries' textbooks, we could develop the cooperative teaching among APCE economies.
2. The sharing of developed ICT materials and the experiences We could take an opportunity to cooperate ICT international exchange and could share the excellent examples with other countries all over the world by sharing the material and experiences which is developed as a result of online project.
3. The understanding of culture and the promotion of interchange among teachers, students within cooperative schools. After interchanging actively in online and off line among teachers, students within cooperative schools by carrying out online project together, we could establish the opportunity to understand other countries' culture, language and history right.
Action plan
Topic : A plan for ICT international exchange cooperation by carrying out the online project together
1. Subject : 845 students in our school (1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade) & 44 teachers in our school
2. Period : 2005. 05. 01 ～ 2007. 04. 30 (for 2 years)

Research 1 : to develop online projects1. The selection of subjects of projects and the analysis of textbooks of school on the same level in the cooperative economy.2. the development of online projects
Research 2: to work together with school of interchange nation on the online projects developed and share results1. translation of the online projects developed 2.opening the online project to web site and performing in cooperation with the other economy.3. opening and sharing a variety of outputs with other cooperative economies
Research 3: to increase the international interchange by understanding interchange nation' culture, language and history etc.1. the development of data on the culture, language and history of Korea2. the development of data on the culture, language and history of an interchange economy 3. the exchange of each material between our country and the interchanging economy 4. opening it on the web site5. driving the interchange among teachers and students in APEC economies |
